well y'all allow it die... if it was grounded and so it would accept been losing a charge the whole fourth dimension it was hooked up...

so in brusque, yes it is dead. side by side time start the car one time every 2 weeks at to the lowest degree, and disconnect the ground from the bombardment if you are going to let it sit.

Yup, that battery is toast.

You can try and rejuvenate it by hooking it up for a slow, deep charge, but fifty-fifty if it works it wont exist equally good as when new.

My friend left his headlights on i night, and my meter tested it to be around 1.5v. Nosotros jumped it, and information technology charged back up simply fine.

I've always thought anything below 10v is a dead battery, only turns out, it'due south non ever the case.

if the battery is beneath 11.6 volts, and so it is drained and will non concur a charge.

Next time, disconnect the bombardment and hook it up to the charger.
Unless you're able to take the motorcar out for a long bulldoze one time a week.

I guess I'll hijack this thread since mystery is solved.

Even when I disconnect my footing, the battery will somewhen die in a week or ten days. Is my battery garbage too? If I bulldoze the motorcar everyday, I don't notice anything. Usually I'chiliad forced to leave it on a charger so this doesn't happen.
